ABOUT 

Kadir Has Political Science and Public Administration Master’s Program is designed for professionals who want to pursue a career in the public sector, private sector, local governments, non-governmental organizations, international, supranational, national and regional institutions and organizations in the fields of political science and public administration, as well as for students who want to direct their academic careers in this field.

The program will provide students with the opportunity to specialize and gain knowledge on current issues in the fields of political science and public administration, with the structure of the curriculum that allows for interdisciplinary transition and a wide range of elective course options, allowing them to develop themselves according to their different areas of interest. The education, designed in accordance with the nature of the 21st century, covers the sub-disciplines of transnational relations, political sociology, political theory, comparative politics, political geography and political economy.

In light of the fields of study and competencies of the academic staff of the program, it is aimed for the students graduating from this program to have competence in research areas that are gaining importance in the field of social sciences in today’s world, such as Comparative Politics, Political Geography, Critical Geopolitics, Political Behavior, Non-Western International Relations Theories, Urban History, Urban Geographies, Women’s Studies, Gender, Foreign Policy, Turkish Politics and History, Labor Markets and Labor Studies, Migration and Mobility, Data Mining, Visualization and Mapping, Political Philosophy, Critical Border Studies, Surveillance Technologies.

Offering an interdisciplinary and strong education opportunity with its competent academic staff in the field, the Political Science and Public Administration Master’s Program offers the opportunity to work on national and international projects, as well as the opportunity to participate in important conferences in the field and produce qualified academic publications under the leadership of respected academics.

The program is thesis-based and the language of instruction is English.
