Prof. Dr. Banu Manav Won the WIL2022 Award

Prof. Dr. Banu Manav, the Dean of KHAS Art and Design Faculty and the Coordinator of DESIGNHUB-IST Design, Training and Application Center, won the “Research and Education” award at The WIL (Women in Lighting) Awards 2022, where women working in lighting from all over the world were nominated.
The prestigious WIL Awards are in the art, engineering, research and education categories. Two people are awarded in each category. Prof. Manav, the only nominee in the “Research and Education” from Turkey, shared the category award with Mariana Figueiro, another notable researcher from the USA.
